Other offerings

For your group, a walking tour — or a walking tour alone may not be the best fit. We offer a few other ways to engage.

Presentations/Discussions: Discuss the concepts of a tour or values. Can be done virtually or in person. Helpful for an orientation to a trip to DC— or for bad weather. Similarly priced to walking tours.

Guest spotlight (on tour): Invite in a local leader- or stop by an organization for deeper engagement. Usually for 20-30 minutes and adds $50 honorarium for the leader and a $25 set-up fee.

Writing custom tours: Don’t see exactly what you’re looking for on our website? Consider hiring us to write a custom tour your organization can use for years to come. Great as an “on hand” activity to demonstrate your values. Tours can welcome visitors or orient new members. For this, we’ve worked with local Universities, churches and non-profits. Rates start at $25/hour for creation. A full two hour tour usually takes around 20-25 hours to complete. You’ll receive a binder, photos and scripts for use.

“Write your own tour” workshop and coaching: We can lead a group of students or leaders in the process of writing their own tour to engage their own communities. This can be done as a “kick off” lesson that another leader follows up with, or a day-long workshop. Rates are similar to walking tours.

Tour+: Pair a tour with a direct service or non profit local visit or add in spiritual orientation and reflection. Usually adds an additional 2-3 hours to the experience. Rates likely similar to doing two walking tours.
